Well done to everyone who competed in today’s winter championship. Oddly, only three archers obtained positive scores based on their tournament handicap. Tom Dawkins was the overall winter champion for the second year running. Well done Tom.

Three intrepid beginners completed their beginners course today and joined the club. Welcome to the club Lorie, Keith and Jim. Also, Hattie was awarded her Bowman Second Class badge today. Well done Hattie!
Well done to all who braved the weather today for the beginners’course and Saturday coaching. It was ver wet and windy but a good time was had by all.
FSix archers where eligible to win the summer championship final today: Malcolm, Jon, Patrick, Andy, Roger and Tom. All entered and shot in compound and recurve classes with good conditions for the trophy. Overall Summer Champion Roger Minors, Gents Recurve, +100
Roger was kind enough to offer the use of one of the fields at his farm for a Clout shoot today. 10 hardy archers and one judge braved the brilliant sunshine to do battle with the French flag at 180 yards. After tho dozen sighterd and three dozen of the
