Merdon Arrow – May 2027
The Merdon Arrow tournament started in 1954 shooting 6 rounds @ 50m on 80cm face with 3 details of 2 archers.
50 meters was a very unusual distance for a round in those days as it predates the FITA metrification of UK archery rounds by quite a few years. It’s also unusual in that there are no sighers allowed at the start of the shoot and no scopes on the shooting line. It’s all about testing the inner archer
The Merdon Arrow is open to all Archery GB members from other clubs.
